FC Haka was hoping to challenge for promotion this season but so far they have been average with 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses. This 8 points puts them 5th. JJK got relegated from Veikkausliiga after last season and they are looking at another relegation if they continue like this. They are the only team without a win with only 2 draws after 6 rounds.

FC Haka is a traditional team who are always able to put a good team on to the field but they have never put a team that could really challenge for promotion. Same seems to be happening this season. They have made the team younger but it is still capable of beating any team in the league. Unfortunately they are not able to do this consistently. FC Haka is a good home team. After losing to HIFK in their opening match thanks to Haka playing most of the match with 10-men, they have won both of their other home matches against KPV and Oulu. Both with 2 goals. In their last game they led KTP twice but had to settle for a 2-2 draw. Their head coach Keith Armstrong was not happy with the result as they created enough chances to win.

JJK is in a mini-crisis at the moment. They are without a win this season and are already 5 points from safety. JJK lost several players from last season and the players who have replaced them have not been that good. They have no depth in the team and in many games have had to use very young players. They have had many injuries all season so they have depended quite a bit of getting some help from their cooperation team Ilves. If they do not get the players, they might not even have a full bench. JJK is not a bad team so sooner or later, they should start winning. In their last game against HIFK , JJK lost 0-2. They conceded an early goal and then another one when they were trying to find an equaliser. In the match JJK did not have much problems so their level is good enough. Sometimes just luck is not with them.
