AC Oulu is currently 4th with 23 points. They are 9 points behind TPS who hold the last promotion playout position, but they have played 3 games less. FF Jaro is 8th and only 4 points ahead of the relegation zone.

AC Oulu has been in good form recently. They are unbeaten in their last 7 games and that includes beating strong KPV in Kokkola and good home draws against leaders Esport Honka and TPS. The moment that the pitches started to get better after the spring, AC Oulu has started to play better. For this game AC Oulu has a new signing as 18-year old Cameroonian midfielder George Junior Tangko joins the team with a contract until end of the season with an option for 2 more seasons. At the same time forward Petteri Pietola moves to the US University league to continue his studies. AC Oulu will miss their Captain Markus Heikkinen due to suspension and injured David Ramadingaye. They will get back from suspension Matias Lindfors.

FF Jaro has now played 6 matches without a win and are actually in danger of relegation. For a team, who started the season as one of the favourites for promotion, this is disappointing. They are already 17 points behind from a promotion spot so that looks very unlikely this season. Their main problem has been in scoring goals as they have managed to score only once in their last 5 games. Defensively they look ok but if the offense does not score, they cannot win. Jaro will get back into the line-up Hassoma Bino Bamba but they will miss still Papa Niang, Joni Remesaho and Joakim Häggblom who are injured. Axel Vidjeskog is with the Finnish youth international team.

Last season all games between the teams ended in away wins with Jaro winning twice. This season the first match ended 1-1 in Pietarsaari.

The teams should be quite equal but with the current form, the home odds are really good. Home win.
