League leaders and promotion candidates HIFK bounced back from their loss to newly promoted AC Kajaani with a comprehensive 2-0 home win against FC Haka. HIFK is not the only one who struggled with AC Kajaani. AC Oulu were leading 2-0 at home against them but lost the lead and drew 2-2. This was disappointing for them as they had been in good form recently winning their two previous matches. Also their key midfielder David Ramadingaye got a red card in that match and will be suspended. Also their key central defender Markus Heikkinen broke his arm and is out.

HIFK has been very strong at home this season. They only lost points in a draw against FC KTP, which has been their only bad performance at the Telia 5G Arena. AC Oulu struggled on away games early on in the  season and lost their first 4 away matches. They did win their last away match against EIF 0-2 which was a good performance. They are unbeaten in their last 4 games and this boost in form goes together with their striker Morin coming back from injury. He has now scored 4 goals in their last 3 games.

Previous matches:

AC Oulu 3-1 HIFK (This season)

HIFK team news:

Jani Bäckman is injured and they have some other small knocks that might keep some players out.

ACO team news:

They will miss injured Markus Heikkinen, Lassi Nurmos and Topi Järvi. David Ramadingaye is suspended.

Starting Line ups:

HIFK: Kollar – Hänninen, Kuusijärvi, Anderg, Lahdenmäki – Saira, Terävä, Jyry, Rantanen, Halme – Mustonen
ACO: Pennanen – Jibrin, Leppälä, Aallikko, Belov – Koljonen, Jair – Gullsten, Tahvanainen, Lappalainen – Morin

Prediction:

HIFK starting without Sihvola and their offense does not look that strong in this match. AC Oulu will play defensively like in all their other away games. Only their opening match was over 2.5 goals. All the other away games have gone under.
