League leaders and the biggest promotion candidate HIFK will host FC Haka at home. The Ykkönen is a very tight league and the top-7 teams are within 4 points. If Haka would win this match, the would go tied in points with HIFK.

HIFK lost to AC Kajaani in the last round 2-1. They have lost only twice this season and both of those games were away from home and after the longest bus ride. Oulu and Kajaani are the furthest teams from Helsinki in Ykkönen. Looks like HIFK players do not like traveling that much. At home they are still undefeated with three wins and 1 draw. They have been very good at home where they have been able to use the artificial turf advantage the best. With the exception of KTP, all the other teams have struggled.

FC Haka has been in good form recently beating both Klubi-04 and FF Jaro in their last two games. The win against Jaro was only their first win this season away from home. It was helped by the fact that Jaro was missing several starting line-up defenders, but still it was a good result. Haka has had problems with injury this season. They do not have much depth in the squad and their main striker Nganbe Nganbe got injured for the whole season and now just yesterday it was announced that one of their most experienced players and Captain Jaakko Rantanen has to retire from football at the age of 25 due to a heart condition. They might need to get replacements when the transfer window opens up in July.

Previous matches:

The teams met on the opening round in Valkeakoski. Haka got an early red card which helped HIFK to win 1-2 in the end. Despite the man advantage, it was a tight game.

HIFK team news:

HIFK will be miss Tuomas Mustonen and Jani Bäckman. Esa Terävä will be available again.

Haka team news:

On top of Nganbe Nganbe and Rantanen, FC Haka will miss Ville Starck in defense.

Starting Line ups:

HIFK: Kollar – Jurvainen, Lahdenmäki, Kuusijärvi, Andberg, Mohamed – Jyry, Rantanen, Halme – Ulmanen, Sihvola
Haka: Immonen – Kyöstilä, Abidor, Paunovic, Malundama – Lähdesmäki, Popovitch – Kari, Thusberg, Hilska – Ben

HIFK to win.
