Pohjanmaa Derby part 2. There is a festival in Pietarsaari called “Jaakon Päivät” which brings a lot of people to the city. Therefore a lot of fans are expected in this match. Both teams started as favourites to fight for promotion but FF Jaro has already fallen quite a bit from the chase. Jaro is currently 8th with 13 points and just 2 points ahead of the relegation zone. KPV leads the league with a 3 point difference to Honka. KPV beat Jaro 3-0 in the first derby game this season.

Jaro already changed their head coach as Calle Löf took over but that did not show in his first match as they were beaten 2-0 by Honka and in a match where they did not create much. Jaro has the potential as they have some good players but it just had not shown. At home they start games well but then lose the match in the 2nd half. They have lost their last 3 games and have managed to score only once in those games. Jaro will be without Johannes Ström, Giorgios Katidis, Papa Niang, Joakim Häggblom and Joni Remesaho who are all injured.

KPV has been the best team in the league so far. They have lost only once (away to Haka) and have not conceded a goal in their last 4 matches. They are in the best form and will have all players available for this game. They have the best home record but even away from home they have been playing good. They are 3-2-1 on the road. This match will be played against their nearest rivals so not much travelling needed.

Prediction:

Considering the form and the available players, the odds on KPV are too high. Away win is the clear pick here.
