In Friday´s only Ykkönen match, promotion chasing FC Haka and FF Jaro meet in Valkeakoski. Jaro is looking to get back into track with their season as they sacked their head coach earlier in the week. Their recent poor performances have dropped them to 7th position but still only 8 points behind promotion positions. Haka is currently 4th. The teams have met once this season in Pietarsaari with Haka getting all the 3 points with a 0-2 win.

FC Haka has had two disappointing away draws against the bottom two teams in their last games. They are however an excellent home team with a 5-1-2 record. This is almost a must win game for them if they wish to fight for promotion as their next two games are away from home against the top two teams HIFK and EIF.

FF Jaro changed their head coach after three consecutive losses and a total of five games without a win. Jaro should be fighting for promotion with this team so the sacking was understandable. Jaro has been a good away team this season with a 4-1-3 record. it will be interesting to see if they will get a boost with their new head coach Niklas Käcko.
