This is he second match during this round where both teams have a stake. TPS needs to win in order to keep their distance to Esport Honka at at least 3 points and preferably they need to win with a high score to keep their goal difference better than Honka´s. Gnistan on the other hand will be relegated if they do not win this match. They will also be relegated if OPS beats Honka at the same time.

There is a lot at stake for TPS in this match. After their slow start to their season, they have been the most consistent team in the league. At home especially they have been strong. They lost their first home game to AC Oulu but have since won 10 and drawn 2 at the Veritas Stadion. They come to this match with a 8 match unbeaten streak having also won their last 5 games. Their last loss came actually to Gnistan in Helsinki so they have some revenge to take here. The biggest strength for TPS is their solid defense as they have conceded only 12 in their 25 games. However their most important player has been their experienced striker Mikko Hyyrynen. He was injured early in the season and TPS only started winning when he returned. He will finish his long career after this season and this will be his last home game (as long as TPS wins the league). TPS has all the key players available.

Gnistan can feel a bit angry at themselves as they started their season a bit under-prepared. It is understandable though as they were operating with a small budget but ever since they got 4 new players and a new head coach, their performances have improved considerably. They are 5-1-4 in their last 10 games and if they could have played like that the whole season they would have been safely in the mid-table. Despite this better form, they should have been safe by now but they lost the two crucial away games to both OPS and EIF which were both 6-point games. This means that they are 5 points behind OPS with only 2 rounds to go. They need to win both and OPS can only earn a maximum of 1 point (Gnistan would then have better goal difference).

TPS beat Gnistan at home 3-0 but in Helsinki they lost 1-0 this season.

Prediction:

TPS rarely wins with a big margin and Gnistan will try to win and the best chance for that is a solid defense. Main bet is Most goals on the 2nd half. If TPS scores first, then bet goals on live as both teams need a win and TPS with a big margin.
