When VPS figured out a way to score goals, their results immediately improved. They have won three of their last four games and have climbed to 6th position and only five points from the Top-3. TPS finally got their second win of the season in their last game against Mariehamn and managed to get out of the bottom. They are currently 11th but a win here could move them to 9th position and out of the relegation zone.

VPS always had a clear way to play the game. The more they would play it, the better they would become. The big change compared to the beginning of the season has been the fact that they have found a way to score goals. In their last four games they have scored 8 goals. The big inspiration here has been Douglas Cae finding his form. He scored plenty of goals in the Finnish Cup, but in the league, he went the first 13 games without a goal. Now in the last four games, he has scored 3. At the same time they are getting back from injury Steven Morrissey and Joonas Vahtera, the two top scorers from last season. They are not fully match fit yet but will provide a good alternative when coming of the bench. VPS is 3-3-3 at home this season so they have room to improve.

TPS is undefeated in their last four games but they only got their second win of the season in the last round. They have always been playing well, but have lacked composure in front of goal. In the last game they finally found it and the win was deserved. They still have scored only 12 goals but maybe the win can give them momentum to do better. It definitely has improved on their confidence. TPS is 1-2-4 away from home this season but also that only away win came at their own home stadium against rivals FC Inter. Thus both of the wins TPS has gotten have been at the Veritas stadium.
