The 2015 Finnish Champion IFK Mariehamn has had an awful season so far. They have lost four out of their last five games and are currently 9th with 15 points. Newly promoted FC Honka is on the top of the form table with three wins and 2 draws from their last 5 games. They are currently 5th with 26 points.

IFK Mariehamn´s form does not look good. They have gotten only 4 points from their last 9 games. This is why they are in relegation trouble. They did manage to come from 0-1 behind to beat PS Kemi 2-1 in their last home game but that was very much lucky. It is not difficult to figure out what is their main issue. It is defending. They have kept only one clean sheet this season and conceded an average of 2 goals per game. At home MIFK is 3-1-5 this season which is way behind on their record last season when they lost only three matches at the Wiklöf Holding Arena.

FC Honka is in good form. They have found a way to score goals and this keeps giving them points. They were unlucky against RoPS to only draw 2-2. RoPS did not have many chances in that match but Honka had several. Macoumba Kandji is in really good form having scored already 6 goals this season. The forward line Kandji, Rahimi, Hervas and Martin has been playing almost constantly, but it has worked. They might need to rest them soon but it might not be yet for this match. Defensively they have been rotating players a bit more which has cost them some goals but overall they are still a solid defensive team. Honka who have lost only two matches this season is 2-4-2 on the road. Their only losses have come against HJK and SJK.
