This is another big match for both teams. You can say that both are in-form even though TPS has only won their last game after losing five in a row. Ilves has gotten 10 points from their last four games and if they will their games in hand, they would move up to 3rd position. They are currently 7th so this is how tight it is for the Euro Cup positions. TPS beat VPS in their last game 4-1 and jumped from last place to out of relegation zone to 10th.

Ilves is still the only undefeated team at home this season. They have won four and drawn six. Now they will have to finish the end of their season without their top goalscorer Marius Noubissi who was sold to Belgium this week. As they already lost their new signing Tiemoko Fofana to injury until the end of the season, their attacking options are quite short. Despite these issues, they still managed to score three goals against SJK in the last game.

TPS got a big win against VPS in the last round. They scored 4 goals at home which was a huge achievement for a team who had the worst goal scoring record in the league before that match. The new signings of Albert Prosa, Savic and Yeteke have lifted up the fighting spirit and players now have to perform to get a chance to play. Winning at home though was one thing, now they have to win away from home. Their away record is the worst in the league. They have only won once away and even that game was played at their home stadium against city rivals FC Inter. There is positive momentum now in the team so anything can happen.
