Newly promoted FC Honka has been playing really well this season. They have lost only two games so far and they are now undefeated in their last 3 games. FC Honka is 5th with 19 points at the moment. SJK was one of the main challengers for HJK when the season started but their season has been very poor. They are currently 9th with 12 points.

FC Honka has played a lot of draws this season and it is mainly because they struggled to score goals. Their defense is very strong but now finally their offense has caught up also. Now Honka is a very dangerous opponent and can fight for Euro Cup places. Honka has an awesome home record. They are undefeated this season with three wins and three draws. On top of that, their last home loss was when they last played in the Veikkausliiga, back in 2014 when they lost 1-2 to VPS. Ever since then, in Kakkonen and Ykkönen and now in the Veikkausliiga, they have not lost a home game.

SJK has had a lot of problems this season. First the team that they gathered was not balanced. They did not get wingers, but got too many central midfield/forward players. Then the head coach that they got, was not good enough. This is why they changed him after just 8 matches despite having a 3 year contract. Then they started to get a lot of injuries and they still have not recovered from that. Now they have a good head coach. Now they only need to get a couple of wingers in the transfer window and to get players back from injury and they should start climbing the table. SJK is 1-2-3 on the road this season.

SJK: Aksalu – Sundman, Tikkanen, Lautamaja, Sarajärvi -Bååth, Ayarna -Ions, Tendeng, Laaksonen – Mboma
