Only one game tonight in the Ykkönen; TPS vs TPV

TPS vs TPV 18:30 Veritas Stadion, Turku
Bethard odds: 1.32 – 4.95 – 7.75

TPS is one of the favourites to earn promotion this season from the Ykkönen together with AC Oulu. They started their season by beating MYPA 0-1. In that game they dominated and had more chances. In their second game they had to settle for a 1-1 away draw against EIF. In that match TPS had to play 73 minutes with 10 men after central defender Rasmus Holma got a red card. He will miss this match as well as will most likely miss goalkeeper Miikka Mujunen who has been suffering from a stomach bug. They do have a good second keeper also in Anton Lepola. They will also get back from injury their forward Jakonen.

TPV is a newly promoted team and their main goal is just to avoid relegation. They started their campaign with a 1-0 loss against FC Haka in a derby game. They then got their first point in their home match against newly promoted MuSa. Defensively they have  been quite solid but offensively they are still missing their first goal. They will miss some players from this match so will need to check the starting line-ups.

Prediction:

This should be a home win as the TPS team is much stronger. In the Finnish Cup TPS won 2-0 and it could be similar numbers here. TPS to win by at least 2 goals is our main pick.   Bethard having 1.90 odds for this.
