FC Lahti sign Henri Anier

FC Lahti announced today that they have signed a 1,5 year deal with Estonian international striker Henri Anier

The 26-year old Henri Anier moves to FC Lahti from Scottish club Inverness Caledonian Thistle. The player started his career in FC Flora but has also played in the main leagues of Norway (Viking), Scotland (Inverness, Dundee Utd) and Sweden (Kalmar). He has also played with Erzebirge Aue in the 2. Bundesliga.

In the Estonian national team he has scored 7 goals in 38 caps.

According to FC Lahti head coach Toni Korkeakunnas, Anier is a high profile striker who they have wanted to sign for many years. He is the number 1 striker for Estonia so we are very excited, said Korkeakunnas.

He is a strong player who works hard and is a good finisher. Korkeakunnas believes that he will suit the team well and add more competition to the offensive positions.
