Big game in Jyväskylä today. Both teams are fighting for promotion. JJK has been close to the top all season but Jaro was near the bottom but ever since their change of head coach, they have been climbing in the standings and are now 4th with 35 points from 22 games. JJK is 2nd with 40 points from 22 games. TPS leads with 41 points but have played a game more. There are 27 rounds in the Ykkönen so we are very close to the end. The winner of the Division will be promoted and the 2nd will play against the 2nd from bottom in the Veikkausliiga in a promotion play-off.

Jaro is the team in form as they are undefeated in 9 games. They were on a 6 game winning streak but drew with FC Jazz on Thursday. JJK has had a bit more rest as they last played 9 days ago when they beat GrIFK at home 4-2. For Jaro this will be their 3rd game in 8 days. The teams have met twice this season. At Jyväskylä in the first game the points were shared with 1-1. At Pietarsaari JJK won 0-2.

JJK will be without Mikko Manninen in this game. Jaro will be without Josue Soto who got injured on Thursday. They will still miss Seth Paintsil and Oskar Sandström.

The odds on home win are good. JJK has been able to rest but this is the 3rd game in 8 days for Jaro. It will be a tight first half but JJK will win it on the second when they put Etock on to the pitch.
