Finnish 1st Division Ykkönen 28 August: FF Jaro vs TPS, FC Jazz vs FC Haka, FC KTP vs AC Oulu and KPV vs GrIFK

Finnish 1st Division Ykkönen Sunday 28 August
FF Jaro vs TPS 18:30 Keskuskenttä, Pietarsaari
Odds 2.15 – 3.50 – 3.05 – Great odds on Ykkönen at

This is a big match with FF Jaro who have won 3 and drawn 2 from their last 5 matches will host the league leaders TPS who have won their last 4 matches. Jaro only has a theoretical chance for promotion but if they do not win this match, then they will not have any chance at all. TPS is fighting with JJK and AC Oulu for the top spot and direct promotion so any loss of points is unwanted.

The teams have met twice this season with the first match in Pietarsaari ending 1-1 but in Turku Jaro crushed TPS 1-4 in Turku. In their last games Jaro has been missing some players but for this game they will only miss midfielder Jonas Emet who got a knock in their last game. Long term injured Seth Paintsil is back and so are Johan Brunell and Oskar Sandström. TPS has no missing players and they also have in their line-up their new signing Patrik Lomski who moved back to TPS from Arka Gdynia in Poland.

Starting line ups:
Jaro: Öhberg – Moore, Bamba, Curinga, Maomba, Josue, Kronholm, Kula, P.niang, Atakayi, Remesaho

TPS: Forsman – Peräaho, Kinnunen, Holma, Liespuu, Rähmönen, Virtanen, Blomqvist, Hyyrynen, Sjöroos, Mettälä

Difficult match that can go either way. Thinking about under 2.5 goals as this is an important match. Maybe leave if for live betting.

FC Jazz – FC Haka 18:30 Porin Stadion, Pori
Odds 3.40 – 3.60 – 2.00 – Great odds on Ykkönen at

Jazz is basically already relegated but they still have a theoretical chance to get them safe so they will fight until the end. FC Haka has been performing very under the bar. They started the season with high objectives but it has all gone South. They are only 3 points ahead of GrIFK who occupy the last relegation spot. Their new loan signings Sarajärvi and Ahde have not helped yet. Ahde is very well known for FC Jazz as he was on loan there the beginning of the season and scored 6 goals there. Now he will have to find the net against his former team mates.

The teams have played twice this season and the games have been tight but Haka has won both games 1-2 in Pori and 2-0 at Valkeakoski. FC Jazz will miss only Wirtz who is suspended. FC Haka will miss from this match Henri Malundama, Juho Saarinen and Jesse Ahonen.

Starting line ups:
Jazz: Pirhonen – Starck, Virtanen, Nurminen, Välilä – Lehto, Mapoka, Sanchez, Junnila – Mäkelä, Lehtonen

Haka: Immonen – Mäenpää, Tabe, Rantanen, Latosaari, Sarajärvi, Lähdesmäki, Mäenpää, Mbachu, Ahde, Dudu

This should be an away win but you never know with Jazz who are fighting for their survival. Small bet on over 2.5 goals and FC Haka to win

FC KTP vs AC Oulu 18:30 Arto Tolsa Areena, Kotka
Odds 2.15 – 3.50 – 3.00– Great odds on Ykkönen at

KTP is on the top of the form table at the moment with 3 wins and 2 draws from their last 5 games. They have really benefited from the changed of head coach and also from their players been injury free. In their last game they beat the leaders JJK 5-0 at home on Monday but it might still be too late for them to climb back into the promotion fight. AC Oulu is already there as they are 3rd with 3 points behind TPS. KTP is 10 points behind Oulu and as there are only 8 games left for both teams, KTP should be out. They are though only 3 points ahead of relegation so they will need more points for that.

The teams have met twice this season with the first match in Kotka finished 1-1. In Oulu the home team won 1-0. KTP has some doubts on a few players and their match fitness will be checked prior to the match. AC Oulu is still missing several players with Markus Heikkinen and Niilo Hautala injured. Long-term injured Antti Peura and Petteri Pietola will most likely miss the whole season. Miroslav Paunovic is still on loan with FC YPA but they do get their new signing Cephas Doku in to the line-up. Ghanaian Doku is a striker and will add to their good striking force.

Starting line ups:
KTP: Pyhäranta – Ostashvili, Salonen, Dolivo, Laitinen – Veija, Tarvonen, Oksanen, Aalto, Kannah, Lindfors

Oulu: Wentin – Kalermo, Vandell, Nurmela, Gilberto, Jair, Doku, Karjalainen, Mboma, Ramadingaye, Nurmos

The home team is in such a good form that have to go with a home win.

KPV vs GrIFK 18:30 Keskuskenttä, Kokko
Odds 1.60 – 4.00 – 4.75 – Great odds on Ykkönen at

KPV has a chance to get back to the promotion fight a win here. They are the big favourites against a GrIFK team who has lost their last 4 matches and have dropped to the relegation zone. KPV has had a roller coaster season where they started with many wins, then continued with many losses but are getting back into form now. The key has been to keep their key players fit and suspension free. The squad is good enough to fight for promotion but it cannot take many missing players. GrIFK has had a decent season considering that they do not really even pay their players. The quality is not the best but they have overcome that with good team play. All that shows in their home games where they have a good record. On away games though they have only 4 points in 10 games.

The teams have met twice this season with KPV winning at home 3-0 but GrIFK winning the second game in Kauniainen 1-0. KPV will miss Yankuba Ceesay who is injured and Teemu Mäki and Matthew Mendy who are suspended. Goalkeeper Joonas Myllymäki played the last game but is still a doubt.

Starting line ups:
KPV: Myllymäki – Myntti, Gustavsson, Rauhala, Sipilä – Banner Jr, Bah, Tshibasu, Sirbiladze, Huuhka, Marsh

GrIFK: Vuorinen – Törmänen, Mikkonen, Heiskanen, Meyer, Stevens, Seferi F, Perera, Takamäki, Kaasinen, Langhoff D.

Very offensive line up for the home team, Will go with KPV over 2.5 goals.
