Newly promoted PS Kemi has added some Veikkausliiga experience into their defense with the signing of Serbian Zeljko Savic.
Zeljko Savic has spent the last 2 seasons with SJK and won the Veikkausliiga title at the end of last season. The 27-year old made his debut in 2006 with his first team FK Omladinac Novi Banovci in Serbia. He played with the club for 6 years playing in the 4th and 5th divisions in Serbia. In 2012 he moved to first division team FK Indija and in 2014 to SJK.
He was a key player for SJK for two seasons and will meet his former team in the 5th round of the Finnish Cup with the date decided later. The 1.85m tall defender said that he saw PS Kemi play 5 times last season and he really liked what he saw. The playing style was unique to Finland and they should not have any problems in staying up in the Finnish Veikkausliiga this season.
The contract will last until the end of the season.
