FF Jaro signs Alexei Eremenko Jr until rest of the season

FF Jaro announced today the signing of former Finnish international Alexei Eremenko Jr. until the end of the season. The experience attacking midfielder still has a clause in his contract that allows him to move abroad if he can find a suitable offer.

Eremenko Jr. played last season with Scottish Premier League team Kilmarnock but did not get a suitable offer to prolong his stay.

The 32-year old has 59 caps for Finland where he has done 14 goals. He started his career with FC Jokerit but moved to HJK Helsinki in 2002. From HJK he moved to Italian former Serie A team Lecce where he spent 2 seasons before moving to former Russian Premier League team Saturn. He also has played with Metalist Kharkiv, Rubin Kazan and Kairat Almaty before he moved back to Kilmarnock where he spent a successful loan period in 2010-11 season.
